Great Lense for the Price - Got it for my Cannon Rebel XT to go to Hawaii..
Got Great Pics with this 70-300 zoom that my 18-55 would have never took..
Zoomed on Whales, Turtles, Dia Head, Etc , Etc. Made my Hawaii Vacation what it needed to be. A 70-400 may have been JUST that little Xtra in just a few PICs but the 300 worked fine .. A Good Buy.. Glad I got it ..

Good price but if you are looking for a sharp lens look elsewhere. Autofocus reasonable speed, could be faster. Lens not sharp above 200 mm

It was a great lens for the price. If you know what you're doing you can get great shots with this lens. Little bonus for me when I bought it cause it came with a lens hood. Much appreciated for that. Haven't used the macro settings that much but from what I've seen so far it looks to be pretty decent, with enough fiddling and know how it could produce great shots.
